Dmitriy
My name is Dmitry, and since I was 18 I have never stayed in one place for more than three months. Not because I cannot, but because I do not want to. I bought my first ticket to Ho Chi Minh City with the last of my money after college, no return flight and no real plan. That was more than ten years ago. Since then I have been through several dozen countries and I have never once regretted it.
Every two to three months I move to a new spot on the map. Poland, Georgia, Malaysia, Mexico, Portugal - these are not tourist trips, they are full lives lived in each of those places. I rent an apartment, find a favorite cafe, figure out where locals buy their groceries, and only then do I move on. What matters to me is not ticking a box but feeling a city from the inside.
Alongside the constant moving, I build services and apps for travelers. That is no coincidence. I know all too well which problems actually get in your way on the road: finding housing without a middleman, making sense of local transport, keeping your documents safe while in roaming. Every tool I build grew out of my own pain points on the route.
This site is not glossy sunset photos. I write here about what actually works: how to organize your life without a permanent address, how to find cheap flights not by luck but by system, how to choose a country for your next base. Specific numbers, specific routes, specific mistakes - all my own.
If you are reading this and thinking that this kind of life is only possible for someone else - I have been in your shoes. At 18 I was sitting in a small town scrolling through other people's travel photos. Then I just went. It turned out to be easier than it seemed.
